
Middle and High School Math Curriculum Project
Educational Support Services (ESS) is inviting experienced educators and content specialists to join our review team for an upcoming state-level Middle and High School Mathematics project.
This initiative focuses on reviewing, refining, and validating curriculum materials to ensure they are accurate, standards-aligned, and classroom-ready for today’s students and teachers.
Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking passionate, detail-oriented educators who understand what great math instruction looks like in the classroom. Positions are open for several types of reviewers:
1. Accuracy & Formatting Reviewers (“Cold Readers”)
Educators with a keen eye for detail who can review materials for:
- Accuracy, consistency, and clarity
- Proper use of mathematical notation and examples
- Formatting integrity and layout consistency
- Grammar, punctuation, and symbol checks
2. Classroom Application Reviewers (“Teacher Lens”)
Certified teachers who can evaluate:
- Alignment to state and national math standards (TEKS, Common Core, or equivalent)
- Lesson design, pacing, and scaffolding
- Classroom applicability and student engagement
- Appropriateness for diverse learners and instructional settings
3. Data & Insights Reviewers
Educators or curriculum professionals who can:
- Organize and track review findings
- Summarize trends, issues, and strengths in the content
- Support reporting and documentation of recommendations
Ideal Candidates

We are prioritizing applications from:
- Teachers and reviewers who have previously worked with ESS
- Educators with experience in Texas education or familiarity with TEKS-aligned curriculum
- Certified middle and high school math teachers
- Professionals who are collaborative, deadline-driven, and passionate about instructional quality
